    • Synopsis
    • Flashback is a feature length documentary film about the history of UK black music. Charting the origins of soul, funk, jazz in Britain with a main focus on the 1950's to 1990's. Flashback features interviews with many leading artists, producers, DJ's and actors. Included in the film are: Eddy Grant, Ruby Turner, Beverley Knight, Trevor Nelson, Jazzie B of Soul 2 Soul and many many more. Whilst the film centres around the music and the artists, it is also a story of being a black person in the UK at that time and delivers an interesting social commentary on the hardships hey endured.
