    • Synopsis
    • Indigenous Mordvin Moksha man sets out for ice fishing. The only way to get food and survive the harsh winter. One step ahead of death, inch by inch, he examines a thin layer of ice, while Moksha woman dwelling in summer reality, cleans fishes and says words of prayer to water masters. When her compatriot starts crawling on the ice surface, with the hope of dropping the rope into the blow-hole, suddenly the ice cracks.
