    • Synopsis
    • Finding Love follows Mistress Renee, a lifestyle FemDom (as opposed to a woman who is a Dominatrix for money). Mistress Renee has found her dream guy - a man who truly wants to be her submissive and wants to be taken through every extreme form of domination Rene can imagine. And she imagines a lot. She renames him Butler, and spurred on by her close friend and sometimes lover, Heather, Renee gradually strips Butler of everything. No money, no job, no orgasms, no eye contact and no mercy. His fear of her is often real, but she’s doing what they agreed on - truly exploring what a commitment to a Dom/sub lifestyle can be. Heather has her own sub, Suzy, and the four of them often play together. Though Butler doesn’t like Heather, he must do what his Mistress commands. Their circle of friends who also practice female-led relationships don’t all agree with some of Renee’s tactics, and eventually even Heather feels her friend has crossed a line. “Safe, sane and consensual” - a term often used in the BDSM world - means nothing to Renee. She only questions herself once, asking “Once broken, he will become my responsibility. Do I really want to take him there?” The answer is yes. Butler leaves her once when things get too rough, but soon returns, begging to be her slave again, realizing she is his one true love and that he is both in awe of her and addicted to her. In the end, Renee, Heather, Butler and Suzy move in together, with Suzy becoming ever more dominant over Butler, and the little BDSM family lives happily ever after. But Finding Love is more than just a tale of the evolution of a female led D/s relationship - it’s an exploration of female empowerment, and ultimately should leave even women who aren’t in the BDSM lifestyle to examine the power dynamics in their relationships with men.
