- Richie is a high-profile journalist in the heart of New York City. He is good looking, successful, wealthy, spoiled, however a good-hearted person. In pursuit of self-discovery, he immerses himself in a whirlwind of parties and late nights, inadvertently jeopardizing his career by missing a critical meeting. Facing the threat of termination, Richie pleads for a second chance, and his boss, reluctantly, agrees. But the punishment is unexpected. Boss decides to send him out of US for a week. He spins a globe and his finger lands in… Kazakhstan. Richie is to travel abroad and craft an article about a country he never knew existed: Kazakhstan.
  
  Stranded in a foreign land where he doesn't speak the language, Richie's first day takes a disastrous turn when he's struck by a car. The driver, Eva, a tall and captivating brunette, is equally shocked and concerned about Richie's well-being. To avoid legal entanglements, she rushes him to the hospital. Fortunately, Richie's injuries are minor, but the real trouble begins when Eva invites him to her home to make amends. Her playful puppy, destroys Richie's passport, leaving him stranded without it.
  
  Richie finds himself in a tight spot, and Eva, feeling responsible for his plight, reluctantly agrees to help. Fortunately for him she is also a translator, and he understands that her assistance is his only way out of this mess. Richie comes with a deal: he will keep the police out of the matter if she aids him in crafting his article about Kazakhstan. While Eva is far from thrilled with the arrangement, she concedes. After all, a week doesn't seem too long.
  
  Now it comes to characters and mentalities issue. As the two vastly different personalities clash and find common ground, they embark on a journey through the city, exploring its hotspots, nightlife, and historical sites. Eva introduces Richie to the local culture, and together, they go on a road trip filled with drama, laughter, and occasional conflicts. As the article takes shape, their connection deepens, and Richie slowly realizes he's fallen for Eva.
  
  However, an unexpected visit from Eva's colleague, who always envied her, shakes the budding romance. Eventually, Richie returns to the United States, realizing he yearns for the time spent in Kazakhstan, the places he explored, and most importantly, Eva. Oh No! He is in Love with her… After article being published, he sends her a copy of the magazine, which is nothing else but a love letter to her.
  
  Eva is touched by the article. She decides to make him a surprise and flies to NYC. He decided to surprise her as well and come back to Almaty. It is understood that they are willing to be together and work on their relationship, but just screwed it all a little (again!)…
