- Synopsis
- Maria and Daniel are over 40 years old, have been married for 8 years, and have not been able to have a baby. They have made the adoption procedures and are traveling to Posadas, a city in northern Argentina, to see their dream finally come true. The rain is incessant. Upon arrival, the social worker accompanies them to the home of the baby’s mother, but at the last moment, she refuses to give the baby away. The assistant suggests the couple to wait in a hotel and return in the morning. All night long, Maria and Daniel share doubts, fears, resentments. Meanwhile, in the city, everyone is preparing for an imminent evacuation.
