- Synopsis
- Mihrije, Sina and Jasna are best friends, tomboy girls in their early twenties. One day they meet Fantasy, a young transgender woman who slowly mesmerizes them. As Mihrije’s very traditional Albanian family plans her an arranged marriage, her emotions toward Fantasy become increasingly deep.They form a special bond and run away to Macedonia, where they become intensely intimate and fall in love, but on the way home, Fantasy breaks the spell. After their return to Slovenia, the three friends realize they have grown apart and feel estranged from each other. One day, Mihrije stops at Fantasy’s apartment and discovers she has disappeared. Now, and each in their distinctive way, Sina, Mihrije and Jasna will start the first steps of their adult lives far from their supposed destiny and become their own version of a woman.
