- Would you confess to a crime you did not commit? Confessing to an uncommitted crime is not unusual in the USA. Trained interrogators are not only able to squeeze confessions from the innocent; in addition, they use sophisticated techniques to trick falsely accused suspects into actually feeling guilty. New York defence lawyer Jane Fisher-Byrialsen is determined to put an end to these manipulative practices. In FALSE CONFESSIONS, we follow the lawyer as she tackles four different cases and are confronted with exclusive video recordings of police interrogation to experience what their victims and their relatives are going through.
