    • Synopsis
    • “Fall, Altazor” is a glimpse at the process of creation of the stage production, based in the classic poem “Altazor: the journey by parachute” from chilean poet Vicente Huidobro, by Jessica Walker and Compañia Laboratorio Teatro from Barcelona.
The film immerses itself in the day to day of the rehersals of this free and open adaptation, about existence, love and the journey of return to our humanity, while it becomes witness of the searches, difficulties, findings and frustrations of the company when it comes to colectively conceiving the piece.
Through the honesty and dedication on stage from this multicultural cast –integrated by nine young actors and actresses from Catalonia, Spain, France, Mexico and Argentina-, the film discloses the method of creation of the Chilean director, who conceives theater as a leap into the void, a meditation in movement, a mystical call to the connection of the actor with their own soul.
Far from being a mere record or chronicle of a stage production, “Fall, Altazor” is approached as a poetry piece in itself: a profound reflection on the nature of creation and the search for transcendence through art.
