- Synopsis
- After the End of the World is a chronicle of urbanism in post-war Beirut, and the struggles faced by people as they try to survive the city's harsh environment. By fusing the genres of fiction and non-fiction, the narrative of the film fluctuates between documented material and invented possibilities. The film explores the ideas, memories, and emotions of various characters coping with Beirut's volatile urban chaos.
