    • Synopsis
    • The story of three orphans who after World War 2, returned home to discover everything was lost.
After a two-year journey across a shattered Europe, and with help from the French government, they reached the shores of southern France. On the ship President Warfield - later known as the Exodus - they begin an unforgettable journey in high seas to their new life.
But in Haifa, the passengers of the Exodus were turned away and deported once more, this time on deck of three British ships. Their destination was a place they all knew too well: the camps in Germany. Outraged, the passengers refused to disembark and staged a hunger strike. The standoff between these survivors and the British authorities was pivotal in establishing the state of Israel.
