    • Synopsis
    • EWA is a feature length virtual reality film experience, divided into 3 parts:

      Part 1 - BIRTH
Through a film installation for 2 people at a time, one will experience giving birth, the other will experience being born. This is the beginning of Ewa's story, one in which her mother, Helga, doesn't want her. The installation will be presented at art galleries and film festivals all over the world.

      Part 2 - CHILDHOOD
Through a serial format of 8 episodes of 5-10 minutes per episode, you will experience Ewa's earliest memories as Helga punishes her and sets outrageous rules for Ewa's life and behaviour. All the episodes will be available through the internet, and at film festivals around the world.

      Part 3 - ADULTHOOD
Through a full feature length film experience, you will engage with Ewa, as a 25 year old young woman, who cannot be repressed anymore and will become a woman of her own. She only needs to face Helga one last time. The feature experience will be both a physical installation and an online pay-per-view experience.

The story of Ewa is a story about the will to find yourself, to be yourself, and to have the power to stand up to yourself.

The genre is drama, with some horror, and a touch of eroticism, with a Nordic feeling of the darker sides of human nature, not unlike the work of Ingmar Bergman or Lars von Trier.
