- Synopsis
- #Empoderadas is a fiction about gender violence, narrating in 10 chapters, some of the different cases to which a woman can be exposed. Based on real stories, the idea is that it be an awareness tool, taking in each chapter a different case of violence, from the best known at the popular level to others that many people do not even know or do not understand as violence, taking as examples from rape to street harassment, from workplace harassment, to social isolation. This is a key moment in the fight for equal rights and possibilities for women in a world still dominated by patriarchy. With this series we seek to contribute our audiovisual grain of sand in this empowerment struggle, helping to raise awareness and promote sisterhood.
