    • Synopsis
    • Dawn in the Delta del Tigre, the sun gives the early shines on the surface of the water. Silent and calm streams welcome the first boats that dare to end the silence of the early morning. Emma (16) opens her eyes in a stark room. She looks at Marcos (48), her father, who sleeps next to her. She gets up, makes breakfast, and then comes back to wake her up.
      As they bundle up to go out, they talk in awkward English, laughing and serious, because she is rehearsing a Shakespeare play and it fascinates him. Marcos dedicates all his time and love to Emma, ​​she is everything he has in life. He takes her by boat to school and sometimes she accompanies him at work, delivering bottled gas to the island docks.
      Emma has a big dream, to travel to London, to know that distant world where English sounds everywhere. She spends her days practicing, playing and rehearsing with her friend Matías (16). Victoria (38), her teacher, accompanies and cultivates that dream while they prepare the premiere of the play.

      One day, Victoria gives them the unexpected news that she has obtained a cultural exchange scholarship so that they can travel to England. The idea of ​​separating disarms the relationship between Marcos and Emma. While she and her friends do everything in their power to collect the money that will allow them to travel, Marcos struggles with the pain caused by the idea of ​​separating from his daughter. Together, they will have to learn to navigate this challenge.
