    • Synopsis
    • 22‑year‑old Bartek runs a small horse farm in the mountains in Poland and he looks after his mother, who is afraid of loneliness.

One day Dawid arrives to the village for his father’s funeral. He is a musician, older than Bartek and completely opposed to him. Their encounter turns into a romance and Bartek begins to dream of leaving home, even for a few days.

At the same time Bartek’s sister returns from abroad. She is pregnant, and she needs help from her family.

Bartek starts getting threats, and he gets involved in a fight. Spontaneously he goes with Dawid to a gay club in a nearby city. Bartek feels that he can be himself there. When they return home, they notice a homophobic inscription on a barn wall and Dawid decides to leave immediately.

Bartek tells his mom that he is gay. She doesn’t want to listen. Someone breaks a window in his house. The mother pretends to protect her son. After that Bartek decides to leave home and to reach for his happiness.
