    • José Hidalgo, El Fantasma, is the most successful and famous bank thief in the history of Chile. Over the course of six years, he was able to rob 20 banks, without leaving a trace. Given his previous years as a bank employee, he was able to find little flaws in their systems that made them vulnerables, allowing him to take advantage of this without recurring to violence. Finally, on one day the authorities managed to catch him, but twelve months later he lead the most spectacular jailbreak he could have ever imagined.

However, behind the criminal exploits is a man with a dilemma. As a child, he learned to steal from his grandfather but everything ended badly. As an adult, he vowed never to make the same mistake, and became an impeccable worker, a faithful friend, and an exemplary husband, only to lead to disappointment and betrayal.

That is, when he decided to commit a crime, everything went wrong. When he tried to lead a righteous life, the outcome was even worse. Now, convinced of having been the victim of other people's mistakes, he decides to return to crime to take revenge on his fate.
