- Synopsis
- Mario lives with his mother Elizabeth, heis an eggs seller with a mild mental handicap. The day before the coup in Chile, his friend Ruben left him newspapers to wrap their eggs. The day after the coup, Ana Maria, high class woman and in favor of the coup, buys eggs at Mario, discovering left wing newspapers as wrapping paper. In the evening Ana Maria, with her husband Juan Carlos decided to makes a dinner with influential guests, to celebrate the coup d'etat, while Mario's house is attacked by militars charging him of storing subversive material, deciding and altering forever the peace and the fate of Mario.
