- Synopsis
- A
  small boat, overloaded with hopeful young men, edges slowly into
  view. In the distance a freight liner awaits them.
  The elder of the group takes out his ID papers and tears them up,
  throwing them into the sea. Elias, our protagonist, understands.
  Without hesitation, he does the same.
  As the coast guard’s searchlights close in, Elias knows it’s time to
  move. Taking off his jacket and shoes he throws himself into the water
  and heads for the liner, swimming towards the promise of a better life,
  beginning the search for his ‘Eden’.
