    • Synopsis
    • A group of female friends frequently gather at an old, traditional house in Tokyo which is owned by a writer who runs a used bookstore from her home and spends her days cooking up deliciously simple dishes. The friends are eclectic to say the least: an editor trying to avoid men; a restauranteur with a dangerous addiction to young men; a wife whose husband left her simply because she can’t cook; a television producer bored with her doting boyfriend. What they all have in common, however, is a passion for good food and the joy it brings them in relieving the stresses of daily life.
