    • Synopsis
    • Set in an alternate America, the rising alien immigrant population, clean water shortages and a devastating stock market crash has lead to a Civil Revolt. After total collapse, a new socialist American government is rebuilt with the assistance of its largest creditors, China and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The first challenge for the new government is dealing with the Dropas, an alien race that came to Earth from their dying planet a decade earlier.
The Dropas brought scientific advancements in genetic technology; they also brought The Virus, an airborne contagion resulting in the death of over five million citizens. The Premier of the American Union formed a government agency, Thet, to deal with the problem. Their mission was simple, to isolate and eradicate the Dropa threat.
Five years later, Harrison, a former member of the Legion, is forced out of retirement when a Legionaire is left for dead after an encounter with a renegade Dropa. Harrison is quickly called back into service by his old team leader. Reluctant, he knows there’s no option when you’re called to serve The Party but just one rule – trust no one.
Harrison undergoes a series of virtual reality psychological stress tests to insure he’s still fit to serve. The tests clear him for return to service but he’s warned that his subconscious keeps creating a lack of focus resulting from the reoccurring images of an unknown woman during the tests.
Harrison questions several witnesses the night of the attack including a Russian bartender, Yelena. She is part of the underground resistance that fought for the Dropas rights and holds a vendetta against The Party for the death of her parents. Yelena reveals the suspect Dropa’s wherabouts and that Harrison’s Legionaire comrade was following up on a transmission promising to disclose a traitor in the Legion the night of the attack.
At this point the story ramps up the tempo as Harrison follows each clue leading him to other members of the Legion and one step closer to finding the Dropa who holds a secret that will shake the foundation of Harrison’s beliefs, the truth about the Legion, the Dropas and himself.
