- Synopsis
- Dreams I Never Had is the story of shattered childhood dreams when a young 13 year old girl is bought from her parents in Egypt by a wealthy family and brought to the US under the pretext of providing her with a better life. Her reality turns out to be a nightmare of daily chores & a life in fear.
  The truth emerges when the perpetrator turns out to have been herself a prey to child trafficking and abuse as a little orphan. Love wins in the end when our heroine is reunited with her childhood love, Enrico, the gardener's son who had taught her how to read in secret.
