    • Synopsis
    • The Sanno High soccer team has been eliminated from the summer tournament. After the losing game, Natsu, the team's assistant, declares that she would not retire as was customary and would stay on until winter. But the team's reaction to this unprecedented decision is indifferent. The coach tries to persuade her to retire and her family insists that studying for entrance exams is more important. Then Kengo, the team's best player, retires unceremoniously and the remaining unmotivated members begin to take over.
Meanwhile, Go, the captain and Natsu's childhood friend, also decides to stay on until the winter championships. He realizes that the other players had relied on Kengo and not him, but swallows his pride and tries to rebuild the team. Natsu watches him, feeling torn. She declares her retirement, believing that Go would detain her and that her presence was needed, but nobody understands.
On the day of the winter championships, Natsu can't concentrate on her studies at all. She makes up her mind and goes to the stadium, carrying an emotion that cannot be expressed in words.
