- Synopsis
- In his first visit home in eight years, Boro returns to the village where he was born, accompanied by his wife and son. He has come to visit his invalid brother, injured in the siege of Sarajevo. There, the history is repeating itself: Boro is making the same mistakes as his estranged father, in his own troubled marriage. Events come to a head, forcing Boro to make peace with his father, and become a better husband and parent. All this, in part, comes to pass, when Boro’s uncle brings home an unwanted donkey.
