- Synopsis
- The movie is about the inner dissonance of its protagonist, Troy Jensen, a 30+ year old failed rock musician turned car salesman, who is struggling to battle his alcohol addiction. Troy's emotional detachment is shaken up when he runs into Carlos, an old acquaintance from his early 20s, and discovers that Carlos is now married to Marina, a girl that Troy dated in college.
  When Troy and Marina meet again, the resurgence of the strong chemistry between them leads Troy to a dark obsession over bringing her back into his life at any cost. Troy begins to form an elaborate scheme to destroy Marina's marriage in order to win her over, but his plot backfires against him. The movie has several musical montages that reflect Troy's feelings, dark thoughts, cravings, and the dissonance between who he is and who he actually wants to be.
