The night before the transplantation, while a radio talk show ‘academically’ discusses the possible incentives behind the recent murder and suicide attempt, we get acquainted with the harsh life that Misho’s colleagues lead. Those are…

Rada, a former straight-A student and current cab driver, who drives to the hospital the doctor who will perform the transplantation of Misho’s heart, his last procedure before emigrating from Bulgaria. At the airport, she picks up her next client, the man who ruined her life – a former communist activist, today a firm supporter of USA and NATO.

Kosta, who wants to tell his clients about his son’s recent passing, but is met with nothing but indifference.

Joro, a cab driver, who saving suicidal people.

Mitko, who cheats his client and pays for it with his life.

Andrei, a firm evangelical pastor and a cab driver during the night, who drives to the hospital Nikola – an unemployed baker, the recipient of Misho’s heart.

On that last drive Andrei and Nikola start arguing about Jesus and his role in our lives. Was He even still in the country or had he emigrated along with a big part of its population.

The streets of Sofia and the Bulgarian mindset through the eyes of drivers and clients.

This is a story about the necessity of a transplantation for a whole society that has no other chance at life but that of a new heart.
