  DIE WELT is a moral drama about a society caught in the vacuum between dictatorship and democracy. We follow in the footsteps of a young DVD salesman Abdallah, who is becoming increasingly frustrated by his inability to create a fulfilling existence for himself. He is faced with the choice to stay or leave his country. But is life really better on the other side of the Mediterranean? This feature debut shows contemporary Tunisia with renewed cinematic audacity.
