    • Synopsis
    • After a series of defeats, in and out of the fields, Diamantino’s football genius starts to fade. At the same time, his father, who was once his great inspiration, his coach and major example, dies. Desperate, Diamantino starts to notice the outside world for the first time, and, touched by the pain and crises of others, impulsively decides to adopt a refugee.

The adopted boy is however the undercover female agent Aisha. Instructed by her boss (and lover), Inspector Lucia, to obtain proof of tax evasion and money laundry by Diamantino, and reveal yet another scandal from the corrupt football world.

Diamantino connects immediately in a sincere and profound way to his new “son”, Aisha – now named “Rahim” – and, innocently, Diamantino is convinced by his greedy sisters, acting along with Lord Ferro, Portugal’s Minister of Sport, that the best thing to do is start an experimental diet, which, in fact, is an attempt by Lord Ferro to try and clone Diamantino’s mind and talent, to obtain a national team of football geniuses.
