    • Synopsis
    • The third season of Deutschland 89 opens with the fall of the Berlin Wall, one of the most significant moments in German history. Throughout the course of eight episodes, Martin Rauch, the series’ protagonist and famous East German spy, deals with the stunning consequences of the fall of the “anti-fascist protective wall”. Everyone must decide how to play their final hand and reinvent themselves as the Cold War Game comes to an abrupt end. Some will react with compassion, others will want revenge or some others just to put this history period behind them.
