    • Synopsis
    • Ernesto and Helena have been married for many years. They live at an isolated estate between
tobacco fields and the high mountain jungle in the northwest or Argentina. One day, they
receive Joaquin, her cousin just discharged from rehab, who has been sent by his family and
against his will, to spend a time there.
The marriage is passing through a fragile situation, the trouble to conceive a child has plunged
them into obsession and a loss of desire. The new presence is Helena’s opportunity to reinvent
      herself and for Ernesto, oxygen.
Living at close quarters will destabilize the couple and a love triangle begins to take form
amongst the hunting, the cockfights and the life in the fields.
Desire can also take on the shape of a deep felt violence.
