A dog, an ex prisoner and his son each wonders alone in the openness of a dystopian desert. Ibrahim is set out to kill, his son wants to stop him, the dog looking for a companion to guard. The journey transforms them, while the father forgives, the son grows angry, and the dog finds a cause.
