- Synopsis
- It is December 24th, 2004 as Delisa, a cheerful little girl lives a beautiful life in Lhok Nga, a small village on the coast of Aceh with her older sisters, Fatimah and her twin sisters Aisyah and Zahra, and her mother, whom she calls Ummi. While going to school and playing soccer, like other Muslim children her age, Delisa is working hard to memorize the words for the Islamic prayer for the prayer practice examination coming up. Her mother Ummi has also promised Delisa a necklace when she passes the exam, just as her sisters received when they completed theirs.
  December 26th, 2004 is Delisa examination date. As Delisa prepares, accompanied by Ummi, an earthquake occurs. Delisa and her family are shaken up, and her sisters stay at home while Delisa and Ummi head for the exam. Delisa’s friends pass one-by-one and it’s now Delisa’s turn. Delisa steps forward and starts her prayer with her mother and friends watching. Suddenly, a tsunami is seen racing towards the beach-side school. What will happen to Delisa and her beautiful family? Will Delisa finish her prayer and receive the necklace she’s been waiting for? And finally, how will Delisa and all the people close to her deal with the terrible tragedy of the 2006 tsunami?
