- Synopsis
- The new title jointly presented by Huayi Brothers and Tencent will share the same name, genre and cast members as the annual sensation on Tencent’s streaming platform, Delicious Romance, one of the most well-known TV series of the year. The series have obtained brilliant critic reviews and earned 8.4 out of 10 on Douban, Chinese version of IMDb and has been released on Netflix. In the story, the three lead characters, Fang Xin (Zhang Hanyun), Liu Jing (Li Chun) and Xia Meng (Naomi Wang), have all had experienced hardships in business, oppression at the workplace and setbacks in their romantic relationships during the COVID-19 pandemic. The film will follow the TV series, to demonstrate the romantic and bittersweet life of urban elites, as well as keep on its investigation towards female topics, following the recent trend of “She Content” Era.
