    • Synopsis
    • In his fifties, alcoholic and unemployed, Raul’s equilibrium is his passion for Ligia, with whom he has lived as a borderline. After being abandoned by her, he starts to drink vigorously, contracts tuberculosis and, in between health centers and temporary jobs, builds a sweet relationship with Cassia, a nineteen-year-old girl that he meets in a bar. This is the first time she really gets attached to someone. However, Raul, sick, and still suffering for Ligia’s disappearance, resists transforming this friendship into a love relationship. With body and mind quite rotted by his disease, Raul faces Ines, a mysterious woman who came up to his room for one last conversation.
