    • Changde, a picturesque town in Hunan, served as a fortress for Chongqing, the auxiliary capital of China at that time. It witnessed the bloodiest defending campaign 67 years ago, when Japanese invaded in China. Under the leaderhip of General Yu Chengwan, the Sivision Commander, the Tiger Warrior troops of the 57th Division of the 74th Army Corps staged fierce battles against Japanese invaders. After 16 days and nights, only less than 90 Chinese soldiers survived in the total of 8,000.
