- Synopsis
- The story is set on the eve of Drum Magazine’s 75th
  celebration, a quirky, idealistic and over-achieving
  psychologist has sacrificed her own personal life to get a free mental health centre, Legae, running in her beloved community of Meadowlands. With the practice on the brink of bankruptcy and closure, Khethiwe (30’s) gets the chance to compete for the job of Drum Magazine’s iconic agony aunt, Sis Dolly, and sees it
  as an opportunity to help people nationwide whilst
  earning money to help save Legae. In the quest to win the competition and become the best Sis Dolly, she lands herself in precarious situations, aiding her to give brilliant advise that turns a mirror on her own wounds. Having shut out the world of love, and neglecting family who need her more than her own clients, Khethiwe’s journey teaches her and us that with the help of our community, love for ourselves and compassion for each other, we can pull together when it matters the most.
