- Synopsis
- All captain KARL GRABISCH has is his work. He has just taken command over a 60,000-ton cargo ship, when under deadline pressure he makes a decision, that costs a man’s life and threatens his career. Arriving in Los Angeles the ship is anchored off the cost for several weeks. Forced to act, he is thrown into a tragically escalating identity crisis.
  The background story of the strike is based on true events in Sydney and Los Angeles in 1998.
