- Synopsis
- Prosper is a 40 year-old Uber driver, who still lives with his mother. One night, a man dies in his car. When he slips on the corpse’s incredible boots, he assumes the
  man’s identity and becomes King, the famous Parisian sapeur. He is charismatic and has one desire: avenge his death. Prosper is then drawn into the world of the Parisian “Sape”.
  
  La Sape (literally “Society of Ambiance-Makers and Elegant People”) is a fashion subculture that originated in Central Africa. The art lies in a sapeur’s ability to put together an elegant look that is unique to their personality, transforming into extravagant dandies. The film is a total immersion into this community, in a Parisian neighborhood where African culture is everywhere.
