    • Synopsis
    • For forty years A-Rui (Lu) has been running a barbershop, a place where she has seen happiness and sorrow ebb and flow. Although faced with troubles in her own life, A-Rui is fully committed to her work, yet that’s never appreciated by her children who treat her profession with disdain. Receiving a phone call from an elderly client’s family member, A-Rui’s asked if she would be willing to cut the hair of a now bedridden, elderly client. And so she closes her shop for the day and embarks on a long journey to do something others think not worthwhile.
