    • As the coronavirus crisis appears to be dying down at last in Japan, and fewer people are seen out and about wearing masks...
      Sara (33) lives with her husband Kosuke (31) and his parents. One day, her mother-in-law Akiko tentatively asks her, “Isn’t about time you had a kid? Aren’t you going to have any?” It’s a question she’s fielded more times than she can remember.
      Although the pandemic has forced Sara and Kosuke to spend more time together at home than ever before, they’ve stopped having sex altogether.
      What’s more, Sara has recently become aware that Kosuke is seeing another woman. Late one night, she throws out all of their condoms.
      Meanwhile, Akiko spends her days contemplating her life deeply, partly due to the loss of her elderly mother to COVID. Her desperate desire to have a grandchild causes her to become unstable...
