    • Synopsis
    • In a lower-middle-class neighborhood in Amman, single and middle-aged Zainab lives a
dreary existence as a local seamstress and her father’s keeper. After her father
accidentally sees her in a wedding dress she is altering for her cousin – Zainab wakes
up and finds her father missing – a man who gave reason for her existence.
Zainab must now reunite with her three estranged sisters at the old family home to
figure out how to find their old man. It doesn’t take long for Zainab to soon realize that
she has unwillingly created a recipe for disaster. Cold, cynical and rich Samah argues
with Amaal who is poor, extremely religious and wears the niqab. In turn, they clash with
their liberal and independent little sister Khitam, the one that ran away. Along the way,
the sisters discover that only by uniting will they be able to remember who they truly are,
and take the first step towards a more authentic future.
