- Synopsis
- Montevideo, March, 1973. Four children are pushed into a water whole by their mother. While the younger ones immediately drown, 8-year-old Tere is rescued by Carlos (9 years old and the only one who knew how to swim). When they look up, they see how their mother throws herself determined to end her own life as well. Again, Carlos reacts by not letting her drown.
  In that terrifying moment, the mother comes up with a false story that her children should tell in case they are found. Thanks to a cyclist, they are rescued and Tere wakes up at the hospital where she will remain almost 3 months recovering from multiple fractures. Nevertheless, for Tere the story of violence has just started.
