    • Two years ago, Yoshikawa had an affair with Marina, his friend Mitsu's fiancée, and she became pregnant with Yoshikawa's child. Although he had a guilty conscience about what he had done, he refused to help Mitsu when he ran over a child in a fatal car accident.
Yoshikawa then released the parakeet that his friends had asked him to look after in an effort to part with everything in his past. But still tormented by a lingering sense of regret, he continues to shut himself into a locker that has been dumped on the roof of a building.
Dari, a deaf pet detective, has recently become engaged and is living happily with her fiancé. But deep down she feels the disability of not being able to hear, and thinks that she must continually ask for permission from other people in order to live.
One day, Yoshikawa meets Dari and hires her to find the parakeet.
Will the two be able to overcome their past and disability to locate the "something shaped like a parakeet" that has been lost?
