- The true story of the Parisian architect Janusz Konorski raised like a lord among the elite, who learns that he is Jewish in the first days of WWII. With his green eyes and curly black hair, he becomes exposed and must grow up as a man and an heir of his heritage that his parents tried to forget.
  
  Janusz Konorski is an upper-class boy living a life of wealth and privilege in one of the most luxurious homes in Warsaw when the Nazi invasion turns his world upside down. As he learns of his Jewish bloodline, he is forced into hiding to escape the coming extermination.
  In his new survival life, Janusz encounters incredible kindness and evils beyond his understanding, setting into motion his transformation from a middle-class darling into a fighter struggling with great hardships and unaffordable fears. The rites of passage in this new world are steep: death, love, and murder in defense of another man turn Janusz into the archetypal hero, a knight among men.
