    • Synopsis
    • In the sequel/spin-off, a second baby survives the same shipwreck from which Haruo was discovered. We learn there is another hidden legend this baby may fulfill. It is the Legend of the Dancing Ninja. The baby, whose trunk is caught in the fishing net of a boat, travels hundreds of miles to a city somewhere in Asia. He is adopted by a local shop owner and grows up, a fish out of water, in this exotic and visually dazzling environment of the urban far east. There he discovers a mysterious Dojo of acrobatic and mesmerizing Cirque d’Soleil-like Ninjas. Immediately he knows this is his destiny. But he has no skills and the Sensei does not allow him entrance to the sacred school where the ninjas train. But the boy can dance and from dancing he discovers his ninja skills. When his Sensei is killed by a brilliant but vicious ex-student who has become an American Action Star, Ikki realizes his mission. He must return to the land of his heritage to avenge his Sensei’s death.
