    • Synopsis
    • The film is set in Peru in the mid-eighties.

      LESLIE BAXTER is an American journalist working as a correspondent for a US television network. He lives in Lima, Peru, for over fifteen years and during that time has freelanced for other US television networks. A couple of young and talented Peruvian journalists work with him. The reporter is LAURA COSTER, and the cameraman is EDUARDO PINEDA.

      BAXTER sent LAURA and EDUARDO to investigate an unconfirmed massacre in a small indigenous village in the center of the Peruvian Andes. Days later, BAXTER loses all contact with them and begins to fear that they have been missing.

      An old friend of BAXTER, JIMENA LOSADA a Peruvian journalist based for over twenty years in the US and with whom BAXTER had a warm romance years earlier, arrived in Peru, sent by his network to collaborate in the search for the two missing journalists.

      Before losing contact with BAXTER, LAURA and EDUARDO send their boss a video containing a piece of enigmatic information, sort of a conundrum. The two foreign correspondents will try futilely to decipher the information later, which will be revealed only at the end of the film. One of them will uncover the mystery that contains the video: actually, it is a riddle that hides some information that explains why the two journalists disappeared.

      In the search for truth, BAXTER and JIMENA will discover that there are powerful clandestine criminal networks. Later they will face those forces when they decide to spread their discovery through the media.

      At the end of that experience, the lives of the two journalists will change completely.
