- Synopsis
- Veszprém is a pretty but small place, just like Hungary. With hardworking people, who sustain problems and appreciate every little thing. There is a team in Veszprém of Cuban, Serbian, Croatian, Ukrainian and Hungarian players who give their heart into the game for the glory of the town. The team from Veszprém is one of the best handball team of the world. A team where everyone is local no matter where he was born, where he was raised. Marian Cozma, the Romanian player was a local as well. He was murdered at the popular bar of the town on February 8 th 2009. His team mates and friends, the Croatian Ivan Pesics and the Serbian Zarko Sesum who tried to help him out in the attack got nearly killed as well. With serious injures though, they survived. The murderers arrived to the place in a group of 30 people. No one knows why did they go there, no one understands what did they want. Many people are frightened. Frightened of the fact that anything can be done in this country. This film was made to help us to understand our world, our reality. This film doesn’t investigate or accuse and doesn’t seek those in charge. The murderers have to be punished, but the responsibility is ours. Veszprem is a Hungarian town, it’s Hungary where all this happened. Is there still enough dignity, strength and honor in this country to protect himself, to protect his friends from those who have no respect either for law nor for moral values.
