- Synopsis
- In the year 2066, the Church controls the World Data-Processing Network. After bloody battles against the Sect of the Red Dragon, the Church decides to eradicate this great evil by implementing the Angel Project led by Archbishop H.
  In Neuropolis, the lieutenant-colonel Kain de Lunec, ex-serviceman of The Angel Martyrs, and adopted son of the archbishop, is responsible for the final testing of the Angel Project at The Scientific Research Center. Eager for the reincarnation of his former partner, Kain's efforts are hindered by persistent bugs in the system. He then asks help from his long-time friend and mentor, John, who discovers a much more serious problem : the protector robot, Van, connected to Kain's brain, has become unstable, infiltred by a spy!
  In spite of his mentor's warnings, Kain pursues the infiltrator. After Kain witnesses the destruction of the spy at the hands of an unknown Commando, Kain and John set out on a journey to find the truth behind the spy and these mysterious mercenaries...
