    • Synopsis
    • Kenny Colman is a legendary Canadian jazz crooner and perhaps the ultimate cool dad. Kenny’s successes included major US record deals, his own TV show on CBC, the admiration of Frank Sinatra, and glamorous gigs around the world. Kenny’s biggest worry today is not his lack of money or his health, it is his forty-three year-old son Chase. A successful realtor, Chase has decided at midlife to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a singer. Kenny thinks his son is crazy to try his hand at show business, especially at this late stage, but feels torn as he also wants to help his son any way he can. COOL DADDY, laced with gorgeous 1960s’ footage, tells the musical story of a man desperately trying to be a good father after a lifetime spent trying to be a great star.
