The world of modern art is both true and false, authentic and fake, where the appearances and reality are probably more interwoven and dialectically organised than anywhere else. My idea is to use it both as starting point and metaphor, as bridge between worlds, as background of the story and of our story, as centre of action for the film. If we consider that “art is a radar” (Mc Luhan) – which forebodes, announces and denounces, one could say that shoot a film that takes place in the world of modern art, is to shoot a film that talks about today and, maybe, about tomorrow.
