- Synopsis
- Senior Inspector Maruti Nagargoje sets out to investigate a case where an elderly man Aba Gokhale has accidentally fallen from his 5th floor apartment where he lives with his son Rahul and daughter-in-law
  Bhakti. As he begins to probe further and talks to the neighbours he realizes there seems to be more to the incident than comes across. The investigation reveals that Aba shared a strained relationship with Bhakti. Being an independent working woman Bhakti often felt stifled in Aba’s presence but continued to take care of him along with her husband. They have had a heated argument a couple of days before Aba fell of the balcony. Inspector Nagargoje suspects and proves that it is because of the fight with Bhakti that Aba has probably tried to commit suicide and that Bhakti has abetted the act. Bhakti is shocked and denies this while he successfully proves that indeed it is a suicide and not an accident. As they wait for Aba to recover from the fall and present his testimony, other murkier secrets about the family are revealed, truth about their relationships are brought out.
  What is Nagargoje really after? Is he right in incriminating this family or does he have an ulterior motive of his own? Are Bhakti and Rahul innocent as they claim to be or are they hiding anything? And most importantly did Aba have an accident or did he attempt a suicide or is the truth something completely different?
