    • Synopsis
    • Every two years in autumn, 24 young directors travel the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, Germany to compete against one another in the world’s leading Sir Georg Solti International Conductors’ Competition. The five young promising conductors Alondra de La Parra, James Lowe, Aziz Shokhakimov, Andreas Hotz and Shizuo Kuwahara can look forward to the city’s best orchestral musicians and a top-notch jury. The film documents the crucial days in the lives of these young conductors on the verge of becoming world class and offers unique insights into the emotional world of five star conductors who live for their profession.
